PLATFORMS
Platforms, platforms, all you're talking about is your platforms,
But yet, when I look around, you do nothing but conform.
You'd rather talk about your new shoes or the album entitled Views,
Sit down and do interviews, but what do you do with your power, you misuse.
Platforms, platforms, all you're talking about is your platforms,
You try to ignore, you act like black boys and girls getting shot and strewn is the norm.
You continue to dance, rap, and sing, I could've sworn you were in a military uniform.
Platforms, platforms, all you're talking about is your platforms,
I could care less about your platforms, but don't you have the power to speak up or have I been misinformed?
Is it you that has not opened your eyes to see that your black brothers and sisters are getting there spirits sucked out of their life form?
Platforms, platforms, all you're talking about is your platforms,
Just remember you were just like me before you blew up, so don't let it go to your head and transform.
We're getting strung up in trees while they walk around our bodies, like they're looking at an artform.
Does this not bother you?
You prefer to care about your debut, or do I seem to misconstrue?
Platforms, platforms....please lift, build, boycott and promote positive change with your platforms!
